PRIVACY POLICY
PDF Editor
Privacy Policy
PDF Editor is designed around on-device processing. It does not upload documents to a developer-operated cloud server for editing or conversion and does not integrate advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking services. When you start Computer Transfer, selected files are transferred directly on the same local network.

01
Data the App Processes
When you use the system file picker, open a supported document from another app, select photos with the system photo picker, or start a camera scan, PDF Editor processes only the content you selected or captured to import, create, edit, reorder, delete, split, merge, convert, compress, save, and share it.
The app also stores your language preference locally on the device. Other than content you explicitly select and local settings needed to provide app features, the current version does not request your name, phone number, account password, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier.
02
On-Device Storage and Processing
Imported, edited, and generated PDFs are stored by default in PDF Editor's app sandbox documents directory. PDF page management, merging, ZIP creation, and conversion from photos, scans, text, Markdown, and supported Office documents are performed on the device. Temporary ZIP files are removed by the app after the system sharing flow ends.
Your language preference is saved on the device using local storage provided by iOS. The developer cannot remotely access these local files or settings through the current version of the app.
03
Network, Analytics, and Tracking
The current version does not upload documents to a developer-operated cloud server. It does not include third-party advertising SDKs, user analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or cross-app tracking features.
When you start Computer Transfer, the app requests Local Network access, advertises an ordinary HTTP service through Bonjour that is reachable on the current Wi-Fi network, and displays an address and six-digit pairing code. After entering the code in a computer browser, you can download PDFs from the app or send supported documents to the app. Transfers do not pass through a developer-operated server. Because this connection does not use HTTPS/TLS, use it only on a local network you trust and stop the service when finished.
If a future version adds cloud sync, online services, analytics, or another feature that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated before the relevant version is released.
04
System Services and Sharing
PDF Editor uses the file picker, photo picker, camera scanning interface, rating prompt, and share sheet provided by iOS. Content is read, captured, or passed to another app, service, or storage location only when you initiate the relevant action.
After you share a PDF with another app, cloud storage provider, or third-party service, that recipient handles the content under its own privacy policy and outside PDF Editor's control.
05
Data Retention and Deletion
PDFs in the app sandbox remain there until you delete them in the app, clear the app's data through the system, or uninstall the app. Copies you save elsewhere through the share feature must be managed and deleted in their destination location.
Before deleting an important document, confirm that you have saved any backup you need. Because the current version does not provide a cloud account or server storage, the developer cannot restore files deleted from your device.
06
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when app features, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change. The revised policy will be published at this URL, and the effective and last updated date at the top of the page will be changed.
